On June 11th we tragically lost one of our own within the Toronto Police Service - Constable Marc Pinizzotto, who was killed in the line of duty. Marc was a 18 year veteran of the Service and a valued member of the Emergency Task Force.
Marc was more than a Police Officer - he was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. He was a leader in the hockey community, volunteering his time as a coach with the Oakville Rangers.
Marc was an amazing co-worker and always had time to listen and help out a fellow officer.
Marc leaves behind his wife and two beautiful children.

Ang, Daniella and Dominic, we wish you our most sincere condolences. Marc was a great friend and we have so many fond memories going all the way back to our teenager years that we will cherish forever. He was always at the centre of the action and his presence and personality were often the catalyst for fun. He will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to Marc’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Marc was a valued member of the Armament Section at the Toronto Police College for more than three years. During that time, he positively impacted the lives of over one thousand recruits, serving as both an exceptional instructor and a respected role model. It was a sad day for us when Marc left the College to return to the Emergency Task Force, but he remained a cherished part of our team. He continued to visit regularly and generously shared his expertise by assisting with training whenever he could. Marc was a true gentleman, a dedicated professional, and a loyal friend. His kindness, leadership, and commitment to others will not be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him.
