On June 11th we tragically lost one of our own within the Toronto Police Service - Constable Marc Pinizzotto, who was killed in the line of duty. Marc was a 18 year veteran of the Service and a valued member of the Emergency Task Force.
Marc was more than a Police Officer - he was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. He was a leader in the hockey community, volunteering his time as a coach with the Oakville Rangers.
Marc was an amazing co-worker and always had time to listen and help out a fellow officer.
Marc leaves behind his wife and two beautiful children.

There are no words to describe the depth of our grief. We loved Marc like family, and the pain of losing him is immeasurable. Andrea, Dani, and Dom: we love you beyond words. We are here for you today, and in all the years ahead. Marc was a light that brightened every room. He is a hero and we will never forget him.
