We are raising funds in honor of Michael Izzo, a devoted Police Officer assigned to NYPD's 111th Precinct as a member of the Quality of Life Team. Michael tragically passed away following a car accident while off duty on Sunday, February 8th, and succumbed to his injuries the following Tuesday.
Michael proudly joined the NYPD in December 2021 and quickly became known as a dedicated officer who cared deeply about his community and the work he did. His loss is deeply felt by his fellow officers, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Michael is survived by his loving mother Sonia, his brother Anthony and his sister Rose. This fundraiser is intended to help support his family during this incredibly difficult time and assist with unexpected expenses as they grieve such a profound loss.
Any donation, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated. Please consider sharing this page. Thank you for honoring Michael's memory and supporting his family.

In loving memory of every Queens MOS. You saved our lives so we could do our jobs to protect others. You took a job that didnt pay enough and still ran into the fray as others ran away from it. I never had the honor of knowing you but you represent the best of us, the best of New York, the Finest. Your Watch Has Ended. Please Report to Heaven as ordered.Rest in Peace. To your family know that your loss is something that will never be measured by dollars but by your absence because the world will not shine as brightly without you.
