We are raising funds in honor of Michael Izzo, a devoted Police Officer assigned to NYPD's 111th Precinct as a member of the Quality of Life Team. Michael tragically passed away following a car accident while off duty on Sunday, February 8th, and succumbed to his injuries the following Tuesday.
Michael proudly joined the NYPD in December 2021 and quickly became known as a dedicated officer who cared deeply about his community and the work he did. His loss is deeply felt by his fellow officers, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Michael is survived by his loving mother Sonia, his brother Anthony and his sister Rose. This fundraiser is intended to help support his family during this incredibly difficult time and assist with unexpected expenses as they grieve such a profound loss.
Any donation, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated. Please consider sharing this page. Thank you for honoring Michael's memory and supporting his family.

Mike & Sonia… My heart aches for you and your family. Mike was a good man—full of kindness and always checking in on everybody. I’m holding your family close in thought and wishing them peace and comfort in the days ahead. Rest easy, Mike. Love and prayers to you all.
Mike was a true friend and "big brother" to my son Steven who is also an Officer at the 111. Both went through the academy together and were amazing stationed at the same precinct. Mike always treated my wife and myself with the upmost respect and shared an amazing bond with Steven He had a beautiful heart and a good core. May he rest in peace with the angels. We lost a good one. Mike, you will be missed. Mr. & Mrs. G.
GOD Bless Brother !
My Brother Izzo, you left far too soon. Great person, always smiling and would make friends everywhere and anywhere. The Banana Crew will always have you in their thoughts. You will be missed brother.
