It is with profound shock and sadness that we share with you that Carolina Petrino, a precious 6-month-old baby girl has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Carolina's parents, Michael Petrino, an NYPD Sergeant and Jessica Petrino, an ER nurse are devastated by this news and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. They also have their 3-year-old baby Antonio Petrino to raise in the midst of this. Although this news comes with a mixture of emotions, we all remain hopeful. Both Mike & Jess are as tough as they come and if there's anything anyone knows about the Petrino's, it's that they are fighters.
Both Mike & Jess have always put other people first, whether it be personally or professionally, serving others with compassion and empathy. It is time that we honor, respect and support Mike, Jess, their beautiful babies and the rest of The Petrino Family.

Dear Darren, Anna and Petrino family, Having also had to deal with a life-threatening illness of an infant, we understand the absolute devastation it brings but also how much the love and prayers of others helps.
