On June 11th we tragically lost one of our own within the Toronto Police Service - Constable Marc Pinizzotto, who was killed in the line of duty. Marc was a 18 year veteran of the Service and a valued member of the Emergency Task Force.
Marc was more than a Police Officer - he was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. He was a leader in the hockey community, volunteering his time as a coach with the Oakville Rangers.
Marc was an amazing co-worker and always had time to listen and help out a fellow officer.
Marc leaves behind his wife and two beautiful children.
100% of the funds raised on this platform will go directly to Marc's family.
Any donation and support is greatly appreciated during this unimaginable time.

The Final Inspection: The warrior stood and faced God, Which will always come to pass, He hoped his shoes were shining, Just as brightly as his brass. āStep forward now, old warrior, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?ā The warrior squared his shoulders and said, āNo, Lord, I guess I aināt, āCause those of us who carry guns Canāt always be a saint. āIāve had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was tough, And sometimes Iāve been violent, āCause the world is awfully rough. āBut, I never took a penny That wasnāt mine to keep. Though I worked a lot of overtime When the bills got just too steep, āAnd I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear, And sometimes, God forgive me, Iāve wept unmanly tears. āI know I donāt deserve a place Among the people here, They never wanted me around Except to calm their fears. āIf youāve a place for me here, Lord, It neednāt be so grand. In life I didnāt expect nor need too much, So if you donāt, Iāll understand.ā There was a silence all around the throne, Where the saints had often trod, As the warrior stood quietly. For the judgment of his God. āStep forward now, my warrior, Youāve born your burdens well, Walk peacefully on Heavenās streets, Youāve done your time in Hell.ā āAuthor Unknown
