Didarul Islam was more than a Police Officer—he was a devoted father to two young boys, a beloved son, a caring husband, and a big brother not only to his sisters but to countless cousins, both here and in Bangladesh.
He arrived in the United States from Bangladesh in 2009, driven by a dream to build a better future for his family. That dream led him to proudly join the NYPD in 2021, where he dedicated himself to serving the city and the nation with honor.
Didarul leaves behind his pregnant wife, two little boys, his aging parents, two heartbroken sisters, and a wide circle of cousins, friends, and well-wishers whose lives he touched deeply.
He was known for his soft-spoken nature, boundless kindness, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He always showed up—without hesitation, without question.
We lost not just a brother, but a piece of our hearts.
May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannah and surround his family with strength and mercy during this unimaginable time. Ameen.

When I do good I feel good that’s my Religion prayers are empty words without action I pray4everyone so I try my best to help every1 life’s not about being popular rich highly educated or perfect it’s about Being real kind&humble and trying UR best to follow the Golden rule the best you can whenever U can by helping anyone less fortunate the best you can with what you can whenever U can every friend any1 has ever had was a stranger first everyone is living someone’s dream always help someone U may the only who does& thanks to all the super positive people out there lighting up the world of everyone who needs a smile&some help on there path no matter how dark it is remember U can always shine some of Ur life’s sunshine on someone’s less Fortunate life&remember smiling is Contagious like a super Awesome Attitude&if U have the power2help someone do it the world needs more of that&always remember when U pray GOD may not come right that Moment but is always on time!
