Katie, a  beautiful soul, wife, mother, and friend who tragically and Suddenly passed away at the age of 40.
Katie suddenly collapsing and losing consciousness. She was rushed to the hospital and spent a week in the ICU, but despite every effort, her condition continued to decline, and she is no longer with us. Our hearts are shattered, and life for her family has been changed in a profound and permanent way.
Her sudden loss has shaken her entire family to the core. Most of all, our hearts break for her 9-year-old daughter, Isabella, who is now facing an uncertain future without the daily presence, love, and support of her mom.

Katie’s husband, Shragi, is a full-time EMT for the FDNY and a dedicated volunteer in his hometown. He has spent his life saving others — selflessly, tirelessly, and with immense compassion. Now, he is facing the greatest crisis of his life. As he grieves the loss of his wife and steps into the role of sole caregiver for Isabella, he simply cannot maintain the 80+ hour workweeks he once did.
We are asking for your support during this incredibly painful time. Shragi has not been able to work, and moving forward will need to significantly reduce his hours in order to care for Isabella, who is herself in a fragile emotional state. The loss of income, coupled with ongoing expenses, has placed an enormous burden on them.
