On September 25th, Officer Albi Purelku of the Lincolnwood Police Department was involved in an off-duty motorcycle crash in Skokie. He was first transported to St. Francis Hospital and later transferred to the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital, where he remains under critical care with life-threatening injuries.
Officer Purelku is not only a dedicated police officer, but also a beloved son, brother, friend, and dog dad.
His injuries are severe, and the road to recovery will be long and uncertain. He faces extensive rehabilitation. While his strength and determination are undeniable, the financial burden of medical expenses is significant.
We are asking for your help to lift some of the weight from Officer Purelku and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping him focus on healing and regaining his strength.
