My beautiful wife, Colleen, was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri last year, leading to 12 surgeries- and procedures that seem never-ending. She is currently in the ICU facing yet another complication and awaiting more brain surgery. Together, we have two amazing baby boys, Nolan and Weston, who are the light of our lives. Colleen has dedicated the past 8 years to caring for others as an ICU nurse, but she has been unable to work since last April. I have been with the NYPD for 14 years, and during this time our family has been blessed with an incredible outpouring of love and support from my brothers and sisters in blue.
Now, more than ever, our family would be deeply grateful for any support you can give. Colleen has always been the one to show up and care for those around her—now it’s our turn to rally around her in this fight. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, generosity, and prayers.

Hi everyone- Colleen wanted you all to know:
” I had another surgery today to fix the ICP monitor and also to externalize the shunt. I am doing well so far but still struggling with headaches, blurry vision and pain.
The doctors say I will be here at least another week, and require one more surgery before being able to go home. Thank you as always for your love and support- it means the world to me! 🌎 💕”

Colleen is still in the Neuro ICU with a bolt in place to monitor her ICPs, and tomorrow morning she will be heading into surgery as the doctors work to find answers. My wife went through something similar, and ended up with a VP shunt to drain the CSF.
