On September 5th, 2025, Officer Eric McArthur - A beloved father, husband, son, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly. He went into what is suspected to be a cardiac arrest at home.
Eric is a loved husband, caring dad and a courageous Officer and Veteran.
Backing the Blue Line stands united, offering support and strength to Shanna, his wife, two children - Caleb and Lila, and K-9 Finn, as they navigate this profound loss. Any Donations will go towards funeral expenses, counseling for the family, as well as any ongoing financial needs.

Mac was one of my Squad Leaders for a short while when I took over a platoon as a younger LT. His infectious smile and positive energy always stood out. I’m honored to have known him and to have served with him even though it was briefly.
