NYPD Officer Stephan Whalen from the 109 PCT is in need of financial support for funeral and burial expenses for his mother. PO Whalen is a rookie officer that is currently out on a line of duty injury. He was currently living with his disabled mother who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. The few family members he has are asking for any support to share the financial burden. Any amount is greatly appreciated. As a retired MOS, I am constantly reminded of the great community we are blessed to be a part of, and the strong brotherhood of support.
