Our company is dedicated to shedding light on the challenges veterans face during their transition to civilian life. The issue we address is the lack of understanding and support in our communities, which often leads to tragic outcomes such as veteran suicide.
When someone takes their own life, the impact is felt for years by everyone who knew them—often leaving loved ones with painful, unanswered questions.
But education and prevention are key.
We are seeking funding to produce and distribute Keep On Living — covering filming, editing, marketing, and outreach. With your support, we can reach a wider audience and make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans and their families.
Keep On Living is a powerful and deeply moving documentary about the urgent and often overlooked crisis of veteran suicide. Produced by Amor Umbrella, a veteran-owned media and film company, the film blends personal stories, expert interviews, and actionable solutions to raise awareness, inspire action, and offer hope.
The documentary opens with the scale of the issue — highlighting the staggering number of veterans lost to suicide each year. Through the voices of veterans and their families, we hear about the struggles they face after service: PTSD, depression, isolation, and hopelessness.
Importantly, Keep On Living also highlights resilience. We meet veterans who overcame suicidal ideation, bankruptcy, and homelessness to rebuild their lives. Special attention is given to women veterans, whose challenges are often underrepresented.
The film also explores innovative programs, community initiatives, and legislative efforts providing mental health support, peer networks, and community connections.
