Help Make the 2026 Josephine County Shop With a Cop a Success!
Why This Matters:
Each holiday season in Josephine County, the Shop With a Cop program pairs kind, caring law enforcement officers with children in need. These children often face challenging circumstances—financial insecurity, family hardships, or lack of resources to afford holiday gifts. The program gives them the opportunity to pick out gifts, essential items, and school supplies, escorted by officers who want to offer more than protection—they want connection, hope, and encouragement.
What We’re Doing in 2026:
Ensuring eligible child in Josephine County can participate and feel special.
Providing gift cards or funds so children can shop for family members and themselves.
Organizing safe, joyous shopping experiences with officers who volunteer their time.
Our Goal:
We hope to raise $4,500 by 12/1/2026 These funds will cover:
Shopping gift cards/overages
Every dollar you donate goes directly to helping a child in Josephine County feel valued and supported during the holidays. We currently have a Community Grant from Grants Pass Walmart but with the influx of applications, we're trying to raise extra funds to support as many children as possible. If any funds are left after the shopping event, they will be used to buy warm clothing for children in need.
How You Can Help:
Donate what you can, however big or small. $10, $25, $50, or more—all are meaningful.
Spread the word! Share this campaign with friends, family, on social media, or at your workplace.
If you represent a local business or organization, consider sponsoring part of the event or donating items or Gift Cards.
