GIVING to the Boys and Girls Club of Polk County - This Fund the First has been created to support an organization that impacts crime by taking kids off the street during the period of time, when most crimes are committed.
A nationwide study shows that when a Boys & Girls Club opens, in a tough neighborhood, negative outcomes (including a 25% Reduction in Juvenile arrests) are avoided.
That's why our Sheriff, Grady Judd is such a staunch supporter! He believes the best way to solve a crime, is to prevent it! You can watch his video here
