On April 6, 2026, Florida Highway Patrol Sergeant Mario Alarcon was involved in a traffic crash while working on Interstate 95. Sgt Alarcon’s patrol vehicle was hit from behind and sustained severe damage. Sgt Alarcon suffered multiple injuries to his back and is currently unable to work. Sgt Alarcon is the sole provider for his wife and two children and is unable to supplement his income with any overtime. We are asking if you can help Sgt Alarcon and his family by donating whatever you can afford. It would be greatly appreciated. Workers comp has denied his claim.
