Rebecca was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Jhoenny De Paula, a loving mother to her three beautiful children, (Jhoenny Lovera De Paula, Noah Loveras De Paula, Joel De Paula) a faithful pastor, a cherished daughter, and friend. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved them with all her heart.

Rebecca touched countless lives through her unwavering faith, kindness, and compassion. She had a beautiful way of brightening everyone’s day with her warm smile, positive spirit, and genuine love for others. She was a true believer who never missed an opportunity to remind those around her, “God bless you,” and “Jesus loves you.” Those words reflected the way she lived—with faith, hope, and love.

Rebecca’s loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, congregation, and her brothers and sisters in blue. While no amount of support can fill the void left by her passing, any contribution, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated and will help ease the financial burden on her family by assisting with funeral and burial expenses, memorial services, the cost of bringing Rebecca to New York from the Dominican Republic, and the many unexpected expenses that come with such a sudden and heartbreaking loss.
