On September 15,2026,I Officer Franco received news that my 1 year old son was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at such a young age.

This news is devastating for my family and I during this time, as we are soon to welcome another member to the family. My son will have to undergo treatment, numerous doctor visits and will have to receive treatment weekly for the foreseeable future. While receiving treatment, my child's immune system will be compromised which could result in unexpected trips to the ER. 

I have 4 year old, my wife currently pregnant with our 3rd child due to deliver in October 2026, I will be greatly needed at home focusing on my 1 year old, my wife’s recovery and our family. 

Unfortunately, as a rookie officer with the NYPD, having less than 2 years on the job, there will be some financial hardship with the medications, bills, travel expenses to and from the doctor’s appointments, while receiving treatment at Stony Brook University Hospital, etc.

I have setup this fundraiser to help my family through any hardship we may encounter.
