Dan DePalma, a retired Fairfax County, Virginia Law Enforcement Officer, suffered a devastating loss on March 21, 2026, when a catastrophic house fire destroyed everything he owned. His home, personal belongings, vehicles, and even his beloved pet was lost in the tragedy.
The insurance coverage falls far short of what is needed—not only to rebuild his home, but also to replace his vehicles, essential personal property, and the countless items accumulated over a lifetime.
Dan has spent his entire adult life serving others. He has volunteered for years at his local food pantry, helping to feed those in need. He also volunteered his time to his local Fire and Rescue department, working to protect others from the very kind of disaster he is now facing himself.
Today, Dan is the one who needs our help.
Please help us support him during this unimaginable time as he begins the process of recovering from this devastating loss.
Any donation—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference as he begins the long process of rebuilding his life.

I appreciate your dedication and support to your community over the years. I don't live where you are, but was inspired by the story I just saw on News4. No clasped hands emoji. The real thing!
