The National Public Safety Football League, aka the NPSFL, is a semi-professional level, full contact football league, made up entirely of First Responders from across the United States of America. The league has been in existence since 1998, is currently home to 14 agencies, and is entirely self funded.
Fun Fact: There is no agency or city budget for our players and teams. Our seasons exist solely with the support of those who support us.
Our players make this sacrifice from their passion for the game, their love of their communities and how they serve them, and especially the need for a healthy outlet from the stresses we endure. Recent weeks have magnified the rigors First Responders face on a daily basis. Our players are the ones responding to all of the emergencies you see on tv. This is your opportunity to be an advocate for positivity, and pay it forward for their heroism.
The purpose of this project is to promote the positives our Police Officers, Firefighters, and Emergency Medical Services provide to their communities. We represent the NYPD, FDNY, NYC Corrections, LAPD, LASD, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, San Diego, Charlotte, San Bernardino, Orange County (CA), Tri-State (NY), Roanoke, and Dallas. We represent each of these departments and communities with incredible pride, while raising awareness and money for charities. The more visible our league is, the more positive our impact can be. This project allows us to utilize modern technology, to expand our reach.
We are excited to be attempting to launch the NPSFL Network this spring, where we can broadcast the majority of our league’s 10 week spring season (goal is 20 of our 30 games). These games are professionally produced, with commentators, multiple camera angles, and instant replay, only on the most basic of budgets. This is truly an operation of many hands paying it forward. An example of the production level can be seen here (NYPD vs FDNY, 2024). To bring this vision to life, we are offering commercial time during these games, and are looking for advertising partners who would like to support the First Responder community. This will allow us to bring our games to all those who cannot attend in person. With the season fast approaching, our financing goals have unfortunately stalled. Our intended hopes of securing enough advertising partners has not been fulfilled to this point. We are thrilled to be working with Fund The First as an official sponsor, and thought to highlight their platform with this campaign to help facilitate our own needs. Whether you are a business owner just learning of this, or a fan of what this project represents, we would love any support you can provide.
