Asking for help is not something that comes naturally to our family.

My husband serves in law enforcement, and like many first responder families, we’re used to showing up for others when they need support. Today, we’re humbly asking for that support for our son, Atlas.

Atlas has been diagnosed with STAT3 Gain-of-Function (STAT3 GOF), an ultra-rare genetic immune disorder affecting only a small number of known patients worldwide. This condition can impact multiple systems throughout the body and requires highly specialized medical care.

After extensive testing and consultations, our family is preparing for Atlas to undergo a bone marrow transplant in Houston. This treatment offers hope for his future, but it also requires our family to temporarily relocate for approximately 4–6 months while he receives care and begins recovery.

Following transplant, Atlas will require frequent follow-up appointments and testing, including monthly trips back to Houston for up to a year.

The funds raised through this campaign will help offset the many expenses that come with long-term treatment away from home.

We value our family’s privacy and have chosen not to share every detail publicly, especially when it comes to Atlas. We hope you understand and respect that decision. What we can share is that our little boy is facing a challenge no child should have to face, and we are doing everything possible to give him the best chance at a healthy future.

Whether you choose to donate, share this campaign, or simply keep Atlas in your thoughts and prayers, your support means more than words can express.

In Greek mythology, Atlas carried the weight of the sky on his shoulders.

Now it’s our turn to carry Atlas.

Thank you for standing with our family during this journey.
