As many of you have seen and heard, yesterday morning The Plainfield Fire Dept suffered a tragic loss. We lost one of our brothers FF Marques Hudson. Around 8am we responded to a reported structure fire on Emerson Ave. Shortly after operations began a Mayday was transmitted and FF Hudson had suffered injuries that he would succumb to at the hospital. The outreach and support from the City of Plainfield, FBMA, IAFF and surrounding communities has be tremendous. We are eternally grateful for all the kind words and prayers that have come our way. We ask that you please continue to keep Marques's family and children in your prayers with us. RIP FF Marques Hudson. We got it from here brother.
