Deputy Kinsey-Smith served her community with honor, dedication, and a deep commitment to justice. She was a cherished member of the department, always going above and beyond to serve and protect.
In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, we come together to support her family, friends, and colleagues during this unimaginable time. This fundraiser aims to provide financial assistance to her loved ones, as well as raise awareness for the mental health struggles faced by our law enforcement officers.
The pressures of the job are immense, and too often, those who dedicate their lives to serving others suffer in silence. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Officer Kinsey Smith. I had the pleasure of working with her on a few DUI cases, and she always carried a positive attitude, showing dedication and professionalism in everything she did. Her passion for her work was evident, and she taught me so much along the way. Kinsey’s loss is immeasurable, not just to her family and colleagues but to the entire community she served with honor. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones and the Miami-Dade Police Department during this difficult time. May her legacy of service and kindness never be forgotten. With deepest sympathy, Ofc.Kevin Espinosa Sweetwater Police Department
