Todd always brings a smile to whatever he is doing.  His positivity is contagious and his ability to focus and strong work ethic brings comfort to his family and friends. Todd is able to show his passion for cooking by being an amazing chef.  He retired from his restaurant (Great Take Out of Massapequa) that he had in Massapequa for over 20 years.  He is an Air Force veteran and gives back whenever he can. Todd was a firefighter in the Air Force.  He volunteers for the feed the hungry and cooks for Temple Am Echad for people in Lynbrook who are unable to leave their home or are in need of food.  He volunteered in the fall to do a clean-up at the Lido Beach and will help anyone in need, especially helping to feed the community.

Todd is a dedicated father and an inspiration to family and friends with his ability to guide his kids is a positive way.  Todd is a shining example of what a father should be and has two successful daughters in college. Todd is not only a step dad to Baia but a Dad who stepped up and continues to do so.

When a minor procedure turned into Todd’s worst nightmare he was sent to the  Intensive Care Unit for over one week. He remains critically ill. That generous heart that he has shared with everyone around him, he is fighting hard to keep. All measures are being taken to stabilize him, heal him, and bring him back to us. Todd and Janna are very humble and wouldn’t normally ask anyone for anything but due to the seriousness of the situation, they need help now.

Todd’s talented and creative wife Janna has been dedicated to Todd by staying by his side but it can be expensive with medical bills and other bills piling up.  Let’s be there for Todd and his family just as we know he would be for us. Please consider donating to Todd and his family to help ease some of the burden of this stressful time.

Great news to share: Todd’s heart transplant was a success and his new heart is pumping strong.  He is grateful to his donor and their family for the gift and this second chance.  It is still a long road ahead filled with physical and occupational therapy but we know he will come through stronger and can't wait to get back to his family and life.

Todd is striving in his recovery process.  He is awake and able to talk.  We are incredibly thankful to all of you for your continued prayers, positive thoughts, and donations.
