Detective Stephen Proscia is a dedicated law enforcement officer with 13 years of service, known for his commitment to protecting our community. After previously overcoming thyroid cancer, he is now facing a new and serious medical challenge.
Following recent neurological symptoms, a brain tumor was discovered, and Detective Proscia has already undergone emergency neurosurgery. He now faces ongoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment, requiring time away from work to focus on recovery.
This fundraiser is organized by coworkers and friends to help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and daily living costs during this difficult time.
Detective Proscia has always been there for others. Now it’s our turn to support him.

Steve is currently going through chemo and he is still being very positive. Steve also recently found out his wife is pregnant. Steve appreciates all the kind words and support.
Thank you all so much. Steve is incredibly grateful and deeply moved by all the love and well wishes he has received. He recently underwent surgery and is in great spirits. Please continue to keep Steve in your thoughts and prayers as he begins chemotherapy.
