Dear Friends & Community members,

We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request to support a beloved community member, Firefighter Doug Michels. Doug has been a dedicated volunteer Firefighter for almost 40 years selflessly serving & protecting our community. Now Doug is facing a challenging battle against ALS ( Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), & we are committed to standing by his side.

To honor Doug & provide much-needed support during this difficult time the Ronkonkoma fire department will be hosting a casino night fundraiser on November 9th, 2024. This exciting event will take place at the firehouse 177 portion Rd, Ronkonkoma NY starting at 6:30 pm. The evening promises to be a memorable one, featuring 10 plus gaming tables, DJ, food, drinks, prizes & raffles throughout the evening consisting of the items donated by some of our sponsors, & plenty of fun!

Your participation & generosity can make a significant difference in Doug’s fight against ALS. Here are a few ways you can help:

Doug Michels has been a steadfast pillar of strength in our community, always ready to help others in their time of need. Now it is our turn to give back & support him.
