A member of our local First Responder EMS community is stepping away from work to receive the mental health care and support he needs.

Seeking mental health treatment as a first responder can come with its own unique set of challenges, and for this individual, that includes an extended period of unpaid leave. We want to help ease some of that financial burden so his focus can remain on treatment, healing and recovery.

For the privacy of this individual and his family, this support request will remain anonymous. Fund the First has verified his identity and first responder status, and all funds raised will go directly to him.

Our first responders spend their careers showing up for others on some of the hardest days of their lives. This is an opportunity for us to show up for one of our own.
