Cameron is a dedicated member of Lake county Sheriffs office. Cameron has served as a Detentions Deputy for 1.5 years in Leadville, Co. At 28 years old he has high hopes and aspirations to become a Patrol Deputy one day.

Cameron is most importantly a son, brother, coworker, community member, and friend. He is dedicated to all who he cares about. He is the first to cover a shift, answer the phone, stay late, share a laugh or smile with those around him. And we his team at Lake County Sheriffs office are dedicated to him. 

On September 7th, 2026 Cameron was on his way to his annual camp trip in Ouray Colorado when he was involved in a head on collision. Cameron sustained life altering injuries and has been hospitalized since the incident and will be for the foreseeable future. 

We are happy to report that Cameron is awake and breathing his own and is able to respond through physical touch. However, his family is traveling back and forth from Michigan to provide support. When they are unavailable he is visited by his many coworkers and friends. 

It is going to be a long road to recovery before Cameron is going to be home, let alone at work. Cameron is facing many surgeries, rehabs and medications in the coming months. All money will be directly sent to Cameron himself.
