🐾 PAWS UP FOR LIBRARIES 🐾
HELP BRING ONLINE SAFETY TO MORE KIDS
📚 Our Mission
PAWS Up for Libraries is a community-driven initiative dedicated to placing children’s books focused on online safety, kindness, confidence, and speaking up into public and school libraries.
Through stories children can understand and connect with, we help kids learn how to navigate today’s digital world safely - before something goes wrong.
These books encourage children to:
• Stay safer online
• Recognize red flags
• Speak up when something feels wrong
• Build kindness, confidence, and courage
By placing these books in libraries, we create free, lasting access for children, families, educators, and communities.
───
🐕🦺 Why Libraries Matter
Libraries are one of the most trusted and accessible places in a child’s world.
For many children, libraries are where they first experience:
• Internet access
• Shared technology
• Independent learning
• Safe community spaces
Yet many public and school libraries lack funding for modern, child-friendly books focused on digital safety and emotional empowerment.
PAWS Up for Libraries helps fill that gap with positive, proactive resources designed to educate without fear.

🐾 What Your Support Provides
Donations help place books from:
📖 The Estie Files Series
A child-friendly online safety series teaching children how to navigate the digital world safely through storytelling, courage, and conversation.
Books are donated to:
• Public libraries
• Elementary & middle school libraries
• Underserved communities
• Youth programs requesting safety resources
All placements are coordinated directly with librarians and educators.
───
💜 Why This Matters
Children deserve the tools to recognize unsafe situations before they happen.
These stories help children:
• Find the words to describe uncomfortable situations
• Understand it’s okay to ask for help
• Build confidence and self-trust
• Learn safety in a gentle, age-appropriate way
One book on a library shelf can impact hundreds of children over time.

🐾 A NEW CHAPTER FOR OUR MISSION🐾
What began as Books for Bravery started with one simple goal: placing comforting, empowering books into the hands of children who needed them most.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of supporters, Books for Bravery successfully donated 100 books to:
📚 The Child Advocacy Center
📚 Penelope House Domestic Violence Shelter
Those donations helped provide children with stories centered around courage, safety, kindness, and hope during difficult times.
As the mission continued to grow, so did the vision behind it.
Today, that mission has evolved into PAWS Up for Libraries - a community-focused initiative designed to place online safety and empowerment books into public libraries, school libraries, and youth-centered spaces where children and families can access them freely.
While the heart of the mission remains the same, the focus has expanded from crisis response to community education, prevention, and proactive safety conversations.
By partnering with libraries and educators, we hope to help children learn:
🐾 How to stay safer online
🐾 When to speak up
🐾 How to recognize red flags
🐾 The importance of kindness, confidence, and self-trust
Every donated book represents an opportunity for a child to feel informed, empowered, and supported.
Thank you for continuing this journey with us as we grow from helping individual children in moments of need to helping entire communities build safer, stronger futures together.
