At the permission of the family, we are organizing this campaign to provide assistance to NYPD Police Officer Angel Acevedo’s two young children Damien (11) and Amy (3) during this tragic time.
Angel was a hero then, now and will always be remembered for how he lived. He was A husband, a father, a son, and a fellow brother in blue to many of us.. He was A member of the NYPD for 3 years, which was time away from his family and children to protect people he didn’t even know..
One of his greatest joys outside of his family was playing softball.
His dedication and relentless sense of duty to serving the public in some of the most dangerous situations during his time in NYPD should never go unnoticed.
