At the permission of the family, Beyond The Badge NY and MTAPD Columbia Association are organizing this campaign to provide assistance to MTAPD Detective sergeant Frank Lore’s four children Frankie (18), Rocco (16), Louie (13), and Nicholas (4) during this tragic time. 

Frank was a hero then, now and will always be remembered for how he lived.  He was a husband, a father, a son and a fellow brother in blue to many of us.. He gave 25 years of his life to the MTAPD , time away from his family and children to protect people he didn’t even know.. His dedication and relentless sense of duty to serving the public should never go unnoticed. 

Prior to his service with the MTA PD, Frank worked as a New York State Corrections Officer for several years. 

 Frank was a memeber of the Westchester County Detective Association as well as the MTA PD Columbia Association.

Frank loved law enforcement but not as much as he loved his children & would do anything for his kids, from traveling to and from sporting events on weekends to simple tasks of taking his boys to get their haircuts.  He was ever present in their lives.  

Frank cultivated countless relationships in and out of the law enforcement community. To know and work with Frank meant that you were guaranteed to have a good laugh and always eat well.  

The loss of Frank will leave a void in the lives of his wife Diana, his children, his family, and anyone else who was lucky enough to call Frank a friend.
