We are coming together to support our Sergeant and his family after a devastating house fire that has left them with unimaginable loss. Our Sergeant has proudly served the NYPD for 17 years. Tragically, during the fire, his mother-in-law lost her life. This heartbreaking loss has deeply impacted the entire family, and they are now facing both emotional grief and the overwhelming burden of rebuilding their lives. In addition to their loss, their home has been destroyed, leaving them without a place to call home and in need of immediate support for basic necessities, housing, and recovery expenses. Sergeant Polanco from Strategic response group 2 has always shown dedication, strength, and commitment to others, now it’s our turn to stand by him in his time of need. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial strain and allow the family to focus on healing.
